About me

I’m Jess and I am a creative and detail-oriented designer with a background in furniture design, now embarking on a career transition into UX/UI design. Possessing a strong foundation in design principles and an innate understanding of user-centric concepts, I am dedicated to creating seamless and visually engaging digital experiences. Leveraging my expertise in spatial planning, material selection, and user research from the world of furniture design, I bring a unique perspective to the field of UX/UI. My passion for crafting functional, aesthetically pleasing solutions and my ability to think critically make me a valuable asset to any design team. I am eager to apply my skills and enthusiasm for user-centered design to contribute to innovative and user-friendly digital products.

I am just completed a Master’s degree at the University of California, Irvine in Human-Computer Interaction and Design. Previously I have received a Master’s degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis on Furniture and Fixtures from ArtCenter College of Design. My undergrad was completed at the University of California, Davis where I received a Bachelor’s in Design.
